Farina Wartime Servicemen

Over sixty five people with a connection to Farina have served in Australian armed forces during wartime. Many were born at Farina or nearby, and many lived and worked at Farina. Nine of these are known to have made the supreme sacrifice and are honoured at the ANZAC Memorial at Farina. The Centenary of the World War 1 Gallipoli landing was enacted at Farina in 2015, where fallen and returned soldiers from Farina were honoured. You can read about this event here. The Farina Restoration Group history team are undertaking extensive research to uncover the stories of Farina people who have served in war, and the list below can be browsed or searched to view what is known about them.
